Etiquette
These lists are not necessarily for people who are no Electrical Engineers,
Web Gurus and RF Geeks. Please mind the fact there are plenty of newbies at
airshare.org and we want all to feel welcome. There is no such thing as a 'dumb
question.' So be nice. (Also see our well-maintained
list of community wireless sites, where you can find more in-depth discussion
of technical issues.)
- Use a descriptive subject line.
- Use [was: ...] when the subject has split.
- Use [OT: ...] when the subject is Off Topic.
- Trim quotations. We say it again: Trim quotations.
- Think twice, post once.
- Facts are better than guesses.
- Use full URLs (clickable from most mail readers) as citations, such as
'http://www.airshare.org' instead of 'airshare.org'.
- The FAQ and Wi-Fi
123 are the best places to start. Please read them before you send your
question to the list.
- The mailing lists are managed by EZMLM. Contact Airshare
Help if you have any questions.
- Archives are not available yet, sorry.
